For the purposes of further strengthening the construction of the committees of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, enriching the ranks of the committees, and promoting the development of Guangdong lawyers' cause, the Guangdong Lawyers Association has carried out the work of supplementing some committees. After strict application, examination and selection procedures and deliberation by the President's Office, the list of additional members involving 14 working committees and 38 professional committees has been determined, with a total of 1219 additional members.

On the morning of May 28, 2024, the Seventh Meeting of the First Council of Foshan Integrated Development Association was successfully held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. As an executive vice president unit, the Institute was invited to attend the meeting. At the meeting, the executive director, lawyer Xie Peina, shared with the participants the provisions on shareholders, promoters, directors, supervisors and actual controllers in the new company law, which was well received by the participants.

On the afternoon of May 28, 2024, the kick-off meeting of the 2024 "Belt and Road" Innovation and Application Competition was also held smoothly, and the executive director of the Institute, Mr. Xie Peina, was invited to participate in the kick-off ceremony.

On the afternoon of May 10, 2024, Zhuhai Foreign-related Public Legal Service Center and Hengqin Zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macao (Foreign-related) Public Legal Service Center received a case of mediation of labor disputes involving Macao entrusted by the Labor and Personnel Dispute Arbitration Court of Hengqin Guangdong Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. Whereas the enterprise is a newly established Australian funded enterprise in the cooperative zone, in order to provide better services for the resolution of disputes involving Macao and prevent disputes from occurring at the source, the Foreign-related Legal Service Center, in conjunction with the Labor Arbitration Court of the cooperative zone, and the two departments have made joint efforts to start the operation mechanism of Qin-Ao cross-border labor dispute mediation workstation, focus on the efficient and harmonious resolution of disputes, and realize the "win-win" of employees and enterprises.
