Visit the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall in Shantou

To celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, further carry out revolutionary tradition education and Party spirit training, inherit the red gene and foster loyalty, on June 27, 2026, the Party Branch of KING & WOOD MALLESONS (Hengqin) Joint Operation Law Firm organized all its Party member lawyers to carry out a Red Education-themed Party Day activity at the Shantou August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall. Led by Liu Shenghua, Secretary of the Party Branch, the Party members visited the former revolutionary siterevisited the extraordinary years, received spiritual edification, and pooled strength for forging ahead through on-site research and study.
①Guided by Party Building to Honor Original Aspiration; Red Study Tours to Consolidate Party Spirit

At 2 a.m. on August 1, 1927, more than 20,000 troops of the uprising staged the Nanchang Uprising under the command of Zhou Enlai, He Long, Ye Ting, Zhu De, Liu Bocheng and others. On August 3, the uprising troops marched southward. On September 19, they occupied Sanheba in Dapu, Guangdong Province. The main force continued advancing south and captured the Chaoshan region on September 24. They set up the headquarters at Dapu Guild Hall in Shantou, and withdrew from Shantou on September 30. The uprising troops stayed in Chaoshan for a total of seven days, a chapter known in the revolutionary history of Chaoshan as the Seven Red Days of Chaoshan.
